DHL Rant

I've been trying to get my wig for 9 to 5 for 2 weeks now. I ordered it off of wigsby, and they used DHL to send it. The first time the tried to deliver it was at 9:45 pm and left a note on my gate saying I needed to sign for it. The note had a place to sign so the morning when I see it I sign and leave it out for them. Come back from working at the theater and the note has writing on it saying they can't just accept the signature, but that I have to register online and authorize them to leave it without the signature. So I do that. Then nothing. For a week.
I finally email DHL explaining the situation and get an automated email telling me to do what I just did. This week I get an email from Wigsby saying I need to contact DHL soon or they'll send my wig back. I can't sign in online and can't get any info that I need. So David calls and DHL tells him that they can't leave the package no matter what, that I have to physically sign for it and take it. Why didn't they tell me this at any point before now!? They told me to do everything else and if they had actually looked at the email I sent they would have seen the issue. But they didn't. We had to fight to get the information we needed.
So they told David that they would send out the package today at a certain time. David gets in contact with the actual delivery people and their person who delivers here is already out for the day. The woman calls the delivery guy and he doesn't have my package. They find out it's still in Orlando being ready to ship back to the UK. David gets in contact with DHL again and after talking to a few different people that just kept trying to put him off, he talks to the original DHL woman and she finds out that the package says it was refused on delivery! Wtf!? I never even got the opportunity to refuse it! So she fixes it, sets up a day for it to be delivered and files a formal complaint. I will be talking to wigsby about how much trouble all this was and maybe they'll pick a better way to deliver their products. I'm so frustrated at this point. It should not have been this hard. If someone had listened and told me the truth from the beginning this wouldn't have been a huge issue.
